When customers sign into their Kin Customer Portal for the first time, they're presented with a pop-up window to outline the portal's purpose and navigation.
This copy was created with Kin's friendly and informative brand voice in mind while also accounting for UX writing best practices.
One of Kin's many landing pages was underperforming, so we A/B tested different elements of copy and design based on customer research.
Altogether, my copy updates to this landing page contributed to an overall 20% increase in conversion rate.
Kin partnered with home makeover master and television host Ty Pennington for an omnichannel campaign centered around a few commercials for broadcast and streaming.
I wrote the script for this 30-second spot to focus on Kin's value props while also blending Ty's voice and Kin's voice for a cohesive brand.
I've created copy for a variety of quarterly and ad hoc direct mail ads, working closely with design to fit tight guidelines.
These are two examples I wrote for two different audience segments, showing subtle differences in tone: high-value homeowners and homeowners with new roofs.
Beyond crafting copy for social media captions, I've also developed campaign copy for accompanying imagery.
This is a sample from a campaign Kin ran for National Preparedness Month that aimed to make safety and readiness more approachable.
I created all of the copy for Balsam Hill's print catalogs, working closely with design and production. We produced 10 books throughout the year for both the US and UK.
This was the largest US book of 2020 and showcases the strategy shift to an immersive catalog rather than a lookbook.
I've worked on a variety of emails throughout the years for B2C campaigns, partnering with marketing and design teams.
These three emails demonstrate subtle changes to the Balsam Hill tone of voice in different scenarios: product, instructional, and transactional.
